Andrew is a full-time real estate salesperson, working with DNS Realty in Peterborough. He began working his career in real estate in 2015 following a career in land use planning and environmental policy which took him across Ontario and around the world. Andrew enjoys working with all buyer and sellers, but it is on waterfront and rural properties where his extensive background comes in most useful.
He spent nearly 15 years in waterfront development and was involved in hundreds, if not thousands of projects throughout the cottage country north of Kingston, the Thousand Islands, and of course the Kawartha Lakes. When it comes to waterfront development and rural property, there aren’t many scenarios Andrew hasn’t seen or managed.
Two things have been consistent throughout his career, both before real estate and today, they are integrity and commitment. When working with buyers and sellers integrity is the one thing that guides everything he does. From the listing of a property right through the negotiations, into the settlement and beyond, Andrew will provide you with guidance, peace of mind, and creative marketing strategies.
If you are an investor or developer looking for your next project, let Andrew and his extensive land use planning and regulatory experience guide you along the way. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental & Resource Studies, and received formal training in topics including Advanced Fish Habitat, the Oak Ridges Moraine Protection Act, the Ontario Greenbelt Act, and the Federal Fisheries Act. Andrew is a qualified witness in Environmental Planning and has appeared before several Ontario Municipal Board hearings. His winning record can attest to his balanced, common sense based approach to development.
“The strongest community I’ve ever lived in.”
As a long-time resident of Peterborough, Andrew understands what living in this beautiful part of Ontario is all about. He values Peterborough as a unique city that provides residents with all the amenities of an urban area while maintaining its small town character. After living in various communities across Ontario, as well as in Melbourne Australia, Andrew and his wife Sarah decided to make their home in Peterborough and to raise their family in what Andrew refers to as “the strongest community I’ve ever lived in.”
As an avid canoer and outdoorsman, Andrew appreciates that some of the best canoeing, camping and fishing opportunities in the world are on our doorstep. He has been canoeing the waters of the Kawartha Highlands for 25 years and has developed a deeply-rooted love for this beautiful region. He paddles the canoe routes north of the city on over-night trips at least twice a year and gets out on the water with his family when ever he can.
